Yael Harnik is a textile artist based in Tel-Aviv. Her artist book, An Expanse in the Midst of the Waters, assembles works, reflections, and experiences from her six years of living and working in Tokyo, Japan. The book offers a glimpse into Japanese culture from a western perspective, as well as into Harnik's own creative processes.
